What do the Governors do?

The Governors act as a ‘critical friend’ to the school by

  • Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction and supporting staff to achieve this.

  • Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils.

  • Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure money is well spent.

Parent Governors must submit their application using the form as these governors are elected in a vote.
